Debuting on the world stage in 2012, the IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championship takes place in the sporting capital of Australia, Melbourne. With a swim start in Frankston, south of the city, the bike course incorporates the Eastlink Tollway, a world-class expressway closed exclusively for the use of competitors on race day.
