Breathing Swim Set For Beginners

This week we focus on breathing patterns. This is a beginner workout but if you can’t make it to the 6th stroke like in one of the drills don’t worry you’ll build up to it.

300 yards
warmup

4×375 yards
following the pattern below:
50 yards
breathing every 6th stroke
75 yards
breathing every 5th stroke, bilateral
100 yards
breathing every 4th stroke
150 yards
breathing every 3rd stroke, bilateral

150 yards
cooldown
