1000 Yard Time Trial Swim Set

This week we focus on a time trial. It’s been a few good weeks of building so let’s see what we’ve got. This set contains a warm up and a 600 yard main set before the time trial. For the 1000 yards we want to hold a race pace and record our time immediately following.

Total Distance: 2100 Yards
Focus: Time Trial

Warm Up – 500 Yards
– 200 Easy
– 200 Pull
– 100 Kick

Main Set – 600 Yards
– 4×50 atl. breath (left, right, every 3, 5)
– 4×50 kick (25 easy, 25 fast)
– 4×50 pull alt. breath (left, right, 3, 5)

Time Trial – 1000 Yards
– 1000 Yards Race Pace. Record time

Cooldown – 200 yards
– 100 Easy
– 4×25 your choice
– 100 Easy
